To report a concern, please see our Reporting page for reporting options.
 
To file a complaint (complainants only), please complete the applicable complaint form (see below) and submit it to crco@calpoly.edu. A Civil Rights and Compliance Office staff member will be in contact within 72 hours of the submission of the complaint.

Our Purpose

The Civil Rights & Compliance Office promotes an equitable and inclusive learning and work environment at Cal Poly by advancing equal opportunities in all University programs and experiences.

About Us

The Civil Rights & Compliance Office (CRCO) is responsible for the University's compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and CSU system policies and procedures regarding discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual exploitation, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, retaliation, whistleblower protection, conflict of interest, the Clery Act, and public records access officer. The CRCO provides an impartial and neutral avenue for students, faculty, and staff and other members of the University community to address concerns regarding and potential violations of CSU policies, and federal and state laws and regulations.

Roles

The Assistant Vice President of the Civil Rights & Compliance Office and/or designee serves as the Title IX Coordinator, Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation Administrator, the 504/ADA Coordinator, the Conflict of Interest Administrator, the Whistleblower Administrator, the Clery Director, and Public Records Access Officer at Cal Poly.
